Recommended First Read-Aloud Short Novels

Age: 3 to 6

Read a chapter a night to your child from great classics that are slightly above their reading level. Make sure that the length of the chapters and the subject of the book maintains your childs interest. They should be begging for more when you say it's the end of the chapter.
